Our first home study meeting is tomorrow and it kinda feels like the excitement of Christmas eve and like I wanna be sick, all at the same time.
When you are pregnant with a child, there is no one there to tell you that you aren't good enough to be a parent. I guess I'm afraid of being told we aren't good enough to be parents, on paper.
A lot of it is probably a fear of the unknown.
Think good thoughts at 2 p.m. eastern!

Unless you have a criminal history, she's not going to tell you that you can't adopt. She's interested in finding out that everyone in your household is on-board and that you all have reasonable expectations. Plus she will want to see that you do in fact have a place to live. I'm sure you do. So relax. Blessings to you!
