Before you are allowed to adopt, you have to go through an extensive Home Study, why not have something similar for people who want to have multiple embryos implanted.

For instance, we had to show that we had one bedroom to provide in order to qualify to adopt one child.

My thought exactly. Going through IVF is no different to me than adoption. I know their may be a biological component (could be someone else sperm and egg), but it is the same thing to me.. you want a child and should have to prove (home study and everything else we go through)that you are fit (emotionally and financially) to parent. What a crazy world!
Well . . . hmmmm . . . I do think the woman who had the octuplets is suffering from some mental problems. I think her doctor crossed a line. But I also think this is a free country and if she wants fourteen kids, she can do so. If this were Angelina and Brad-or anyone with a lot of money, the world would celebrate for them.
If it were Brad and Angelina, we all know they'd have a safe place to live and be cared for. This is not the case with Nadya.
and I think that's what concerns everyone.
