Everyone is SO careful about getting the references correct for a “birth mom who is making an adoption plan....”
I don't like being referred to as a “permanent resource.”

We encountered the same situation, sort of. In our case though we were a "permanent plan"
How about the term "family"? They could even put the "adoptive" in there if they wanted. But no, "Permanent plan"
